I lived in Kawasaki city, Kanagawa prefecture for 49 years.
In the place I lived, it is located on the opposite side of the Tamagawa River, and it is approximately ten minutes by car to Haneda Airport. It is a city where you can go by train at Yokohama Station in about 20 minutes.
Transportation is convenient, I went to work place by bicycle.
When I finished my work, I drank alcohol with my colleagues at a familiar bar.
It was a worker's town, so when I was teaching the youth baseball team, I drank alcohol with other team's coaches from the morning.

Five years ago, I retired from my work place I had been working for for 30 years.
At the time, the mother suffered from dementia of the Alzheimer type, and the disease progressed rapidly.
My father also had dementia.

I could not get help from my brothers and relatives to take care of my parents.
I was the second son of three brothers, but I was suffering from parents' care and family life.
From my wife to Fukuoka, he said that he can get relatives cooperation.
After I worried, I moved to Kurume-shi, Fukuoka prefecture.
I currently live in the edge of Kurume-shi, Fukuoka prefecture.
It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes by car and takes express by bus to Fukuoka airport.
This remains in the countryside of my mother's hometown.

Car is essential in life. There is also a big shopping mall when you drive a car, there are many nature.
There is not much inconvenience in life, but because it is a car society, I can not live a life to drink on the way home from work.

However, when I live in a country away from the city, I can understand the grace of nature, made in Japan, ecology, and various interesting things.
